Associate Professor Sudha Mokkapati and colleagues from Monash University have developed a finger-prick test that GPs could use to screen patients for Alzheimer’s disease in minutes.

The device could drastically alter how the disease is diagnosed, potentially replacing much more expensive and specialist procedures currently used.
